Not sure what going on with the "progressive" listing of the file but I DO know that Other odd thing both source mpg and it's mp4 are listed as progressive.īUT the mpg show no "jaggies" and (VRD) mp4 DOES. Just hope this new issue has also gotten "good enough" with the proper setting. VRD has gotten "good enough" and is much faster. TMPGEnc does it perfectly but much slower. Jagged edges with movement (in the h264 format). So I get to experiment with Bob,Weave and Smart options and hope that one will remove the Was on AUTOĪnd that certainly does not remove interlace. I finally found the deinterlace option, It was in the "Edit Profile". When it creates a H264 file from a MPG file. ![]() VLC has deinterlace so I never noticed that VRD does not deinterlace I found that "Media Player Classic" handles all the audio that W7-WMPlayer does notĮven tho it is listed as "Directshow" it works finally.Īll plays smoothly and all the audio works!
